Our Production

Our Coir Production Process

We follow a meticulous, eco-conscious production process to ensure the highest quality in every fiber we deliver. Our production blends traditional techniques with modern equipment, enabling us to serve both domestic and international markets with consistency, efficiency, and sustainability.

Raw Husk Collection

We begin by sourcing raw coconut husks from trusted, sustainable coconut farms. Only mature husks are selected to ensure maximum fiber strength and quality.

Retting & Extraction

The husks are then soaked in water (a process known as retting) to loosen the fibers. After retting, fibers are mechanically or manually extracted to ensure long, strong coir strands.

Cleaning & Drying

Post extraction, the coir fibers are washed and naturally sun-dried to retain their natural color, flexibility, and strength.

Processing & Spinning

Cleaned coir is then spun into yarn, curled into ropes, or shaped into finished products such as mats, brushes, and geotextiles.

Packaging & Export

Finally, products are carefully packed to meet global shipping standards and customized as per client specifications. We ensure safe, eco-friendly, and timely delivery worldwide.

Sustainable from Start to Finish

Our process ensures that nothing goes to waste—every part of the coconut husk is repurposed, reused, or naturally decomposed. At Nandi COIR, sustainability isn't just a buzzword—it’s how we operate, every day.
